Potentiation
1. Increase the power, effect, or likelihood of a physiological response to stimuli.
2. Achieving more than the sum of the parts.
Prepare (warm-up) the neuromuscular system for optimal performance based on the goal of the exercise or activity - no massaging, pressure points, foam rolling, etc. needed.
Create neurocentric strategies that immediately and/or progressively restore ranges of joint motion, and increase strength and control.
Create neurocentric strategies to improve the coordination of co-contractions, i.e., joint control, stability, balance, etc.
Potentiate each repetition by designing cognitive, emotional, or behavioral profiles for each repetition.
Refine procedures, methods, and techniques so that clients get even more benefits from our current knowledge and skills.
